A Bachelorette Bash: A Devilishly Good Time
When bride-to-be, Meghan Woodall, told her best buddies she was getting married, they began planning a devil inspired afternoon at Devil’s Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs.
The ladies chose a pink and green color scheme and scheduled a private party at Devil’s Ridge. They purchased pink devil’s horns for Meghan to wear and the entire party wore monogrammed shirts, argyle socks and high heels for their flirty foray into a gentleman’s sport.
With some experienced golfers and others that had never held a club, the ladies decided to enjoy a variety of activities on and around the course. They enjoyed a mini-lesson from the golf pro on both the putting green and the driving range.
Then, they engaged in a little competitive golf cart driving and a putting competition. With lots of laughs behind them, they headed to the bar for applietinis and cosmopolitans that coordinated with the party’s color scheme. The ladies then headed to the deck for a variety of hors d’oeuvres and conversation. As a sweet ending to the day, each lady had a slice of “man cake”
that was “tattooed” with a Devil’s Ridge logo crafted of sugar paste.
