Audrey Hepburn Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot in Downtown Raleigh
It brings us so much joy when we see our amazing advertisers collaborate with one another in creative endeavors. Whether it is real weddings or beautifully styled photo shoots, it never ceases to amaze us what a talented group of people can do when they come together. In the case of this lovely Audrey Hepburn Inspired Styled Shoot in Downtown Raleigh, we were tickled pink when we saw the list of contributors and saw so many familiar names.
The shoot was held at The Stockroom at 230 in Downtown Raleigh. The one thing that we love the most about this venue, along with its fantastic location, is that it is a veritable blank canvas for weddings and events. We have seen this space transformed from industrial and modern to elegant and romantic. For this styled shoot, the team played up the industrial details with contrasting elements of sweetness and charm. The color scheme of blush and Tiffany blue with accents of gold and cream channeled our leading lady perfectly.
Kelly Kennedy of Teacup Floral created stunning floral arrangements and bouquets for the shoot, mixing sweet pea, babies breath, and the always popular peony in an array of lovely pastels. We are so excited to feature Kelly’s work in our 2015 issue!
The cherry on top of this Audrey Hepburn inspired shoot was the incredible dessert bar created by Weddings Mag favorite Brie Marrow of Cake Couture. If you have not seen this wonderful lady’s amazing creations before, you are in for a treat. Not only does she create stunning cakes, she also designs custom menus for incredibly detailed dessert bars. In this case, she made irresistible cake pops, sweet little cupcakes, cookies and pink milkshakes, along with three show-stopping cakes! Head on over to our Pop Art inspired bachelorette party to see another one of her amazing dessert bars!
Coordinated by C. Fultz for Creative Purposes, this beautiful shoot knocked it out of the park with a perfect color palette and so many unique elements, like the vintage key napkin rings and quotes from our Fair Lady herself scattered throughout. Lindsey Laughlin Photography captured every darling detail, and we are so glad that this team came together for this lovely treat of a styled shoot!
