The beautiful historic Melrose Knitting Mill sits nestled in the heart of downtown Raleigh, featuring exposed brick and tall windows. These elements combined with fresh greenery, light blooms and gorgeous chandeliers made for the perfect industrial chic wedding for Taylor and Trevor!
Taylor exuded grace and elegance in a satin ballgown with a sweetheart neckline. Her bridesmaids complemented her charm in grey satin ballgowns that made their bouquets, made up of white and peach roses interspersed with fresh green magnolia leaves, pop even more. Trevor and his groomsmen looked handsome in classic black tuxes with personalized cufflinks.
For the ceremony, the historic melrose knitting mill was bathed in light from the tall windows and white linens hung at the altar. Two abundant floral arrangements stood on either side of the couple as they said their “I do’s.” The combination of natural light and light from the chandeliers overhead cast a romantic glow on the ceremony.
Taylor and Trevor personalized their wedding to a tee. From their dog-themed cocktail, the Maggie Mule, and matching cocktail napkins, to Carolina Grits wedding favors, guests were able to truly celebrate the couple.
The reception was bursting with fresh flowers and greenery. Intricate arrangements similar to the bouquets sat atop tables dressed in white linens. Blue satin napkins provided the perfect pop of color on each table, apart from the beautiful white and peach blooms overhead. Taylor and Trevor’s cake was a lovely three tiered creation from Blue Moon Bakery, featuring fresh blooms on each tier.
The newlyweds danced the night away celebrating their love with friends and family. As the celebrations came to a close, guests gathered around to send the couple off with sparklers. Taylor and Trevor departed from their loved ones in a red carriage with a classic “Just Married” sign on the back. Cheers to the newlyweds!
