Real Wedding: Anne-Hunter & Jason – Starlight Meadow
Starlight Meadow offered the perfect backdrop for Anne-Hunter and Jason to pledge their love for each other in front of beloved friends and family and to declare their lifetime commitment. The charming, old hay barn served as both altar and banquet hall, and the open meadow offered beautiful vistas to watch the stars come out as the sun set on the perfect day.
Anne-Hunter wore a classic white gown with a slim silhouette. The sleeveless bodice was covered with a lace overlay that formed a halter. The lace overlay extended down the skirt and the train. An embellished sash accented the waist, and it trailed behind the dress in long, satin tails. Anne-Hunter wore her copper hair in a low updo, topped by a lace-trimmed veil. She kept her accessories simple with a pair of pearl earrings, and carried a bouquet of lush blooms in shades of pinks, coral, and peach.
Her bridesmaids wore brightly colored dresses with long sleeves and knee-length hems. The dresses were a pale aqua covered almost entirely with large, bright pink blooms with purple accents. They carried a simpler version of the bride’s bouquet, with just two huge blooms, a few accent florals, and lush greenery.
Jason wore a navy suit with a white shirt and a burlap bowtie. He wore a boutonniere of a cream bloom and pink rose with large leaves, as well as a white pocket square. His groomsmen wore the same ensemble. Two ring bearers wore navy pants with white shirts and burlap bowties.
The altar was lined with mason jars filled with lush blooms and hanging from iron hooks. The altar was a white fireplace mantle topped with lanterns, floral swags, and other rustic touches. Julie of Bushel and Peck Designs created the bouquets and the other floral arrangements. A friend of the couple officiated the intimate ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests moved inside the open barn for the reception. The space was decorated with floral centerpieces in the same blooms and shades as the bouquets and the ceremony flowers. Rustic touches like wood chairs, lanterns, and candles were also part of the décor. Guests enjoyed a meal catered by Bam Pow Chow and Napoli Wood-Fired Pizza Food Trucks, followed by a delicious dessert from Sweet Megs.
To help celebrate Anne-Hunter and Jason, guests were invited to dance the night away to the tunes spun by a friend of the couple. They were also invited to snap some fun photos of themselves in a photo booth provided by Good Time Photo Booth. The booth provided many unique photos for the couple to fondly remember the good times shared with friends and family. However, Brian Fleming Photography was also on hand to capture formal photos of the celebration, including wonderful photos of the couple at Starlight Meadow and in a vintage truck.
Courtney with C and D Events helped plan the wedding ceremony and reception, which came together beautifully for Anne-Hunter and Jason. They began their happily ever after at the end of one very happy day.
