Real Wedding: Ashley & Marcus at Chatham Station
What makes a wedding unforgettable? Being surrounded by friends, family, love… and great flowers! The premier, industrial chic atmosphere of Chatham Station was freshened up by a bounty of ivory and pale pink roses and striking deep blue blooms provided by Every Bloomin’ Thing.
Though the flowers were beautiful, all eyes were on Ashley as she floated down the aisle in a tulle ball gown with a sweetheart neckline and embellished belt and back. Ashley’s bridesmaids made the bouquets come to life – three bridesmaids wore pale pink gowns while the rest wore the deep blue reflected by the blooms.
Marcus (and his groomsmen!) also rose to the occasion, looking handsome in a deep blue suit with a pale pink and navy striped tie and ivory flower boutonniere. His groomsmen also wore blue suits, but paired them with pale pink vests and bowties.
Ashley and Marcus were married in front of a romantic arrangement of fresh greenery, ivory blooms, gold accents and floating tea lights. The light from the candles created the perfect ambience for the couple’s celebration of love.
After a beautiful ceremony, it was time for the real fun to begin! Ashley and Marcus cut into a unique, three tiered cake. The cake stayed true to the theme with the bottom tier being navy blue, the middle tier a pale pink, and the top tier white brushed with gold. An arrangement of ivory roses cascaded down the tiers. When dinner and cake concluded, the guests hit the dance floor to celebrate with Ashley and Marcus.
The weather outside must not have gotten the memo that a special night was taking place, but Ashley and Marcus came prepared! The two shared an intimate moment together, escaping the falling rain as the newlyweds huddled facing one another under a transparent umbrella. The moment made for a beautiful photo, but it made an even better beginning of the couple’s life together.
