Real Wedding – Briana & Pete at the Barn of Chapel Hill
Weddings are often lively due to the couple’s excitement, the guests’ anticipation, and of course the dancing – but don’t forget about lush greenery and vibrant flowers! Ivory and blush roses paired with an abundance of greenery spruced up Briana and Pete’s wedding, giving it a natural, fresh feel.
Briana began the day the way a bride should – with champagne and loved ones. After their hair and makeup was done, both Briana and her bridesmaids stepped into their dresses. The bridesmaids’ dresses were shades of blush in varying styles, adding a nice contrast but not overpowering the bride. Briana looked gorgeous in a v-neck gown with a full skirt and detailed overlay. The bouquets, bursting with light blooms and greenery, heightened the fresh feeling created by the decorative greenery around the barn. Pete and his groomsmen looked handsome in blue suits and fun, polka dot socks.
The sun cast a gorgeous glow over the ceremony, which was held outside of the historic barn. Briana and Pete said their “I do’s” under a beautiful wooden arch covered in fresh greenery interspersed with light blooms.
Guests moved inside the barn for the reception. Natural light flooded in from the barn’s windows, accentuating every thought-out detail from the personalized napkin rings to the intricate hand-drawn chalkboard lettering. Tables were dressed in white linens and covered with blush and ivory blooms, gold votives, and of course greenery. Gorgeous, elegant arrangements of greenery hung from lofty light fixtures, drawing guests attention to the beautiful architecture of the barn.
After a day full of celebrating, toasting, and dancing, it was finally time for Briana and Pete to bid their loved ones adieu. What kind of wedding would it be if they didn’t leave under an archway of sparklers, stopping for a kiss along the way? Cheers to the newlyweds!
