Real Wedding – Jackie & Adam: “I Do” To A Tee!
Serendipity brought them together. Adam and Jackie’s parents lived in the same neighborhood, and they met by chance while they were out for a walk. Adam’s mother mentioned that he was looking for a house, and Jackie’s mother mentioned that her daughter was a realtor. The two were connected, and after a few house showings, they made a first date. He never bought the house, but more than four years later, they were getting married.
The couple were married at the #2 hole at the golf course of the Pinehurst Resort. They chose to get married at Pinehurst because Jackie’s grandmother lived in the city and was a member at the resort for more than 20 years. Jackie had a lot of happy memories growing up there, and she always thought it would be a beautiful place to get married.
The altar consisted simply of two elegant arrangements of white flowers and lush greenery, set atop two white pillars. White folding chairs were set up on two sides, with the grass on the golf course providing a natural aisle. The surrounding trees and rolling green of the golf course provided a beautiful backdrop. Jackie walked down the aisle in a beautiful white gown with a lace overlay. The bodice featured a sweetheart necklace, with a lace halter ovrerlay. The lace train created a large circle behind Jackie as she walked. She wore her hair in a low chignon and carried a bouquet of cream flowers and greenery. Her bridesmaids wore navy gowns with different necklines, and they carried bouquets arranged similarly to hers.
Adam wore a navy suit with a silk, navy tie and a cream floral boutonniere. His groomsmen wore dark grey suits with navy ties. All the men wore brown shoes. Guests moved into the Outlook Ballroom at the Pinehurst Resort for the reception, which was decorated in navy and cream. The tables had navy linens, and the centerpieces consisted of cream florals and ivy greens. Jack Hadden Floral created the centerpieces, which featured a mix of low arrangements and opulent displays in tall, thin vases. The Pinehurst Resort provided catering for the delicious meal, as well as the wedding cake.
The cake featured three layers with ridged frosting in simple cream. Fresh, cream flowers were placed on each layer, as well as plenty of leaves in shades of ivy. A “Mr. and Mrs. Waters” placard sat on the top. All Events DJs provided the music for the evening, as well as the photo booth for guests to have fun taking candid photos. Amy Allen Photography and Davis Video Production got all the special moments on film, and Vision Events planned every detail of the day to perfection.
