Real Wedding – Jacob & Mary-Scott
One of the best ways to make a wedding feel more intimate is to incorporate personal details throughout the day. Jacob and Mary-Scott’s wedding at All Saint’s Chapel and reception at the Stockroom at 230 not only featured historic charm and chic industrial elements, but also quality moments with loved ones and personalized hand-written vows.
Mary-Scott began her day with a breathtaking view of downtown Raleigh from the Glass Box. Floor-to-ceiling windows allowed for natural light to pour into the space, creating the best lighting for Mary-Scott and her bridesmaids to get their hair and makeup done! After a couple mimosas and many laughs, Mary-Scott stepped into her beautiful lace gown with the help of her mother. The gown’s beaded waist brought out her dainty accessories and gave her just the right amount of sparkle.
Mary-Scott’s bridesmaids looked gorgeous surrounding her in baby blue gowns in varying styles. Their gowns made Mary-Scott’s bouquet stand out even more as they highlighted the light blue flowers interspersed with ivory blooms, pale yellow roses, and plenty of fresh greenery. Jacob and his groomsmen kept with the theme, looking handsome in navy blue suits and pale yellow boutonnieres.
The couple’s wedding in the historic All Saint’s Chapel was intimate, elegant, and charming. With stunning woodwork and breathtaking stained glass windows, hardly much decor needed to be added to the chapel for the special day. Mary-Scott and Jacob said their “I do’s” underneath cathedral-like ceilings and surrounded by bountiful floral arrangements similar to the bouquets.
After the ceremony, everyone traveled over to the Stockroom for the reception. Tables dressed in white linens were covered in fresh greenery, gold accents, and intricate white lanterns housing tall candles. The Stockroom’s exposed brick combined with the glow of hanging market lights gave off a chic and intimate feel while still maintaining elegance.
Jacob and Mary-Scott enjoyed a lovely dinner catered by Empire Eats, were treated to many laughs from heartfelt toasts from loved ones, and of course hit the dance floor to celebrate the start of their new journey together. As dusk fell to night, guests gathered around with sparklers to send the newlyweds off. What a magical ending to a beautiful day!
