Real Wedding: Jessica & Stephen – Love and Luxury at Linbrook
There are those couples have that “oh, they’re a match made in Heaven” something about them and Jessica and Stephen are without a doubt, one of THOSE couples! When deciding where to exchange vows, it’s no surprise that they selected Linbrook Heritage Estate for a classically timeless setting and A Lovely Affair event planner for their special day.
Jessica decided to repurpose her mother’s wedding gown, a breath taking sheer-sleeved dress with a sweetheart bodes and elongated train. Her bouquet, full of muted pastel blooms with pops of deep red and sprays of fresh greenery, complemented the pale dusty beige bridesmaids dresses to a tee.
The groom and handful of groomsmen could not have looked more handsome in their navy, two-button suits and ties that matched perfectly with the bridesmaids gowns. The timing of the wedding made for pictures that look as though they are straight out of a fairytale.
The ceremony took place in front of the picturesque estate, with guests looking on as Jessica and Stephen exchanged vows surrounded by an ensemble that included a harpist, violinist, pianist and more! Following the wedding, the party moved to the reception, held on the estate as well.
It was a southern extravaganza courtesy of Sweet Basils as guests dined on appetizers such as mouth-watering chicken and waffles, jalapeno cheddar biscuits and fried okra. Plated dinners that included pork tenderloin, sweet Italian sausage and parmesan French stuffed chicken were served right before the newlyweds cut into the “dirty iced” 3-tiered wedding cake, topped with fresh cream roses and lush greenery by Sweet Josephine’s.
Décor consisted of lush garlands, candlelight and touches of blush and white florals scattered throughout, a creative innovation of Blossom Artistry. Special moments were caught by Noah Williams which included the bride surprising her husband and mother in law when she sang for their mother/son dance and the father of the bride, which wrote and sang a song for his daughter during the toasts.
Guests danced for hours before Jessica and Stephen departed with sparkler exit and left in her father’s vintage car. It truly was the perfect ending to an unforgettable day!
