Real Wedding – Kristina & Charles at All Saints Chapel
Kristina and Charles were married on a crisp autumn day in the heart of downtown Raleigh. The day began at The Glass Box, a bright and chic suite overlooking downtown through floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Natural light illuminated the suite and created a warm atmosphere, perfect for a day of celebration. Kristina and her bridesmaids enjoyed the amazing views while getting their hair and makeup done – and while sipping a mimosa, or two!
Kristina wore a stunning tulle gown with an embellished top and wore her hair in a romantic low chignon. Her bridesmaids complemented her in unique dresses in varying shades of blush, bringing out the shades of the blush and burgundy blooms that made up their’s and Kristina’s bouquets. Charles and his groomsmen looked handsome in their tuxes, personalized by their cufflinks.
Once everyone was ready, it was off to the All Saints Chapel to get Kristina and Charles married! The beautiful, 140 year-old restored chapel features breathtaking stained glass, lofty clerestory windows, and detailed woodwork throughout. With a venue this gorgeous, decoration was hardly needed. Candles of varying heights and greenery lined the aisle and tall vases with floating tealights stood behind the altar.
After saying their “I do’s”, Kristina and Charles escorted their loved ones to The Stockroom at 230 for the reception. Gorgeous birch farm tables were topped with a swath of greenery interspersed with light blooms, tall and short candles, burgundy blossoms, and tealights encased in gold geometric holders. Abundant floral arrangements also sat atop tables, bursting with warm autumnal shades of blush, burgundy, ivory, and greenery. String market lights gave off a romantic glow, creating the perfect ambience for the evening.
When dinner was finished and the intricate three-tiered cake with ruffled buttercream and blush blooms had been cut, it was time to move to the dance floor. After Kristina and Charles shared their first dance, guests joined them for a night full of great laughs and even better dance moves.
As the last song came to an end, so did the night’s celebrations. Guests showered Kristina and Charles in confetti before sending them off to begin their new life as a married couple. A beautiful day was made even more special by the love shown to the couple as they embarked on forever.
