Real Wedding – Mariko & Erik at The Bradford
From lush landscapes to vibrant florals, by far one of the best parts of a summer wedding is the gorgeous color involved! Mariko and Erik’s outdoor wedding at the beautiful Bradford was bursting with color from the saturated landscape and the bounty of red, peach, orange, and yellow flowers.
While the venue and fresh blooms were stunning, the colorful radiance didn’t stop there. Mariko’s bridesmaids’ green gowns looked lovely and created the perfect contrast against her white high-neck gown. Mariko’s sophisticated gown exuded elegance, which she heightened with dainty jewelry and a romantic low chignon. Erik looked handsome in a navy suit and also stood out from his groomsmen, who were dressed in black suits.
The ceremony was filled with light as Mariko and Erik met under a rich wooden altar decorated with a cascading swath of vibrant blooms. The surrounding landscape and radiant flowers came together in perfect harmony and created a beautiful fairytale forest feel.
The beauty of The Bradford’s manicured landscape made for an equally gorgeous reception. Tables were dressed in white linens and topped with warm peach, orange, pink and ivory blooms interspersed with small gold votives and tall beige candles. One large farm table featured a long strand of lush greenery and two large floral arrangements similar to Mariko’s bouquet. Market lights created the perfect ethereal ambience as they glistened overhead.
When dinner was over, all the toasts had been heard and the laughter died down, it was time for the guests to send off the newlyweds. Loved ones gathered around Mariko and Erik and wished them well as they sent the joyous couple off under the glow of sparklers.
