Real Wedding – Natalie & James at Rose Hill
There are so many elements that go into a wedding to make the day magical, but what could give off more of a fairytale vibe than arriving in a horse drawn carriage? Natalie and James’ wedding at Rose Hill Plantation was truly straight out of a storybook with beautiful vibrant colors, gorgeous florals, and of course, tons of love!
Like most brides that get married at Rose Hill, Natalie didn’t pass up the chance to begin her day in the historic home’s bridal suite. After getting their hair and makeup done, the women stepped into their vibrant pink gowns and prepared for Natalie’s big reveal. The expressions on their faces were unforgettable as they got their first look at the bride in her gorgeous high neck gown with lace detail and elegant tulle skirt.
Natalie and her bridesmaids carried bouquets bursting with light made up of yellow blooms, blush roses, blue hydrangeas and greenery. At the ceremony, large floral arrangements containing the same vibrant blooms were placed on both sides of the steps leading up to the front porch of the historic home where James stood waiting for his soon-to-be wife. James looked handsome in a blue suit and hot pink bowtie, while his groomsmen sported blue suits and hot pink ties.
The ceremony was beautifully decorated, but Natalie’s arrival made it truly magical. Guests gazed upon the bride as she and her father gracefully arrived in an elegant white carriage pulled by a white horse. An adorable pug was also included in the ceremony, accompanying the ring bearers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the newlyweds departed from their guests in the horse drawn carriage, which had a sign on the back reading “just married.”
For the reception, guests walked over to Rose Hill’s spacious ballroom for dinner and dancing. As dusk gave way to night, Natalie and James commemorated the special day by digging up a premium small batch bourbon from the plantation’s grounds. What a unique way to celebrate and remember such a prominent day!
