Real Wedding – NC Museum of Art
It’s no question that a place as elegant and beautiful as the North Carolina Museum of Art would make a stunning setting for a wedding! Tanya and Alec celebrated the start of their lives together surrounded by family, friends, and chic architecture.
Tanya looked timeless in a tulle gown with intricate floral overlay and a low back. Her bouquet was bursting with color from golden craspedia and red calla lilies amongst white blooms, lush greenery, and fresh succulents. Alec looked handsome sporting a navy blue suit and boutonniere of a white flower and golden craspedia.
The ceremony was held outside the museum, showcasing the beautifully manicured landscape. The enclosed courtyard space created the perfect intimate ambience. Tanya and Alec were framed by two large arrangements of fresh blooms and greenery similar to Tanya’s bouquet.
After the ceremony, guests moved inside for the reception. The tables in the museum’s extensive great hall were dressed in navy linens and topped with refined arrangements of golden craspedia, red calla lilies, vibrant yellow blooms and fresh greenery. The intimate, romantic ambience from the ceremony was kept alive throughout the reception by candlelight from small gold votives.
After a beautiful, vibrant dinner, it was time for cake. Tanya and Alec had a unique three-tiered square cake with an intricate navy and gold sweeping design that added movement to the cake. Surrounded by natural wood accents, fresh succulents, and golden craspedia, this cake was an elegant work of art in itself!
As the band played their final song, the celebration came to a close. Guests surrounded the newlyweds with love as they embarked on forever together under the glow of fireworks. What a magical night!
