Real Weddings: Lauren + Warren
On a cold, blistery day in April, Lauren and Warren gathered with family and friends at Duke Chapel to start forever together in the very spot that they met and fell in love. Dressed in a classic sweatheart gown with a floor length train, Lauren was the epitome of a blushing bride. Her bridesmaids wore striking teal dresses, each in their own design. The groom and his groomsmen sported black and white tuxedos with teal bow ties and white pocket squares.
The venue, Duke Chapel, provided the dramatic architecture as a picture perfect back drop that is unparalleled. Lauren carried a bouquet full of bright red, pink and purple blooms that popped. White lily filled arrangements trumpeted from all sides of the venue, as the excited couple exchanged vows.
The freezing rain and snow did not stop this crowd from enjoying an amazing and unforgettable reception held at The Carolina Inn. Oversized arrangements bursting from clear vases, courtesy of Bloom Works and floating candles, all at various levels, filled the room, creating a merry ambiance.
Dinner, dancing and desserts were the order of the evening as guests were treated to “thank yous” that included personalized Koozies and Bride & Grooms Oreos, leaving loved ones with sweet memories of this special day.
