TBA, NACE & ISES – What to Know When Hiring Wedding Vendors
Searching for and vetting wedding vendors can be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding! With a market as big as the Triangle, there are sure to be countless options for vendors in every category, from photographers to cakes and caterers to transportation. How can you know who is legit, and who is too good to be true? Referrals and reviews are a great way to determine whether or not a vendor is a professional with a tried and true record of conducting a legitimate business. Another awesome way of gauging a vendors professionalism is to find out whether they are a member of any local, national, or international professional organizations. We are lucky enough to have multiple organizations with Triangle chapters that hold their members to high standards of ethics and education. If you see any of these letters at the end of a vendor’s email signature or on their website. It’s a safe bet that they hold themselves to those standards, are constantly seeking further education in trends and practices, and have a lot of passion for the industry as a whole!
